BOOK SIGNING IDEAS

BOOK SIGNINGS are fun. It is the best way to ENGAGE and INTERACT

with new and die-hard readers.

Pamela Wright and LaQueisha Malone

When gearing for a book signing a few things to keep in mind are gifts, decorum, and attraction. GIFTS: Gifts are what you can use to give to a select amount of buyers. (e.g. First 25 to buy a book will receive a gift bag.) DECORUM: Decorum is how you decorate your table and make it stand out from others. (e.g. A laptop that will constantly play your book trailer, book stands to place your books upright, or the table covering you’ll use to fit the theme of your book.) ATTRACTION/GOODIES: Attraction pertains to the prop you’ll use to get readers to walk over to your table. (e.g. A sheet cake with your book cover image on it or a bowl full of candy.) These are only a few ideas. There are so many more out there.

Always remember to have fun and be spontaneous.
