Privacy Policy

Strawberry Publications has developed a policy to protect and safeguard any personal information about you that may be collected as a result of your use of Strawberry’s websites. Please read this policy to understand what we do and how we do it.

There are basically two kinds of personal data that we may or may not collect. Personally-Identifiable Information includes such items as e-mail addresses, billing information, employment status and other data that may track visitor activity on our website or on-line service. Sensitive Data would include social security numbers, mother’s maiden names, personal financial data, information about specific medical conditions and perhaps some information about children. You need to know our policy regarding both of these kinds of data.

We do not automatically collect any individually identifiable information from visitors to Strawberry’s website. We will sometimes collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, and any information that is volunteered by you in communications with us. For example, if we need to fulfill your subscription order or to provide other products or services you requested, as well as for billing purposes, we may store this information.

We also will sometimes use this information to communicate with you, such as notifying you if you have won any contests that we sponsor or when we make any changes to our subscriber agreements. By knowing a little about you, Strawberry is able to deliver more relevant advertisements and other information, and thus to better serve you.

When you are on the Strawberry website and are asked for personal information, you are sharing that information with Strawberry alone, unless we specifically tell you otherwise. From time to time, we are contacted by companies that may have a product or service that we believe might interest you. In that event, we may share your personally-identifiable information with these companies, but we do not expect to receive any consideration from those companies for providing this information: however, we reserve the right to do so.

If your relationship with us includes providing us with any Sensitive Data, we will protect that information with special care, and we will not distribute any of it outside of Strawberry's direct communications with you. If you do not want any of your personally-identifiable information or Sensitive Data shared with any other party, you may choose to do so by selecting that choice.

You should know that any time we may need a credit card number, we transmit that number in an encrypted format, and we do not share that information with any other party. Also, the information we collect in any on-line forum or community that we may institute is simply used to provide an interactive experience, in order to facilitate participation in those forums.

We do attempt at all times to prevent unauthorized disclosures of information, but we cannot assure you that inadvertent mistakes won’t happen, and unintentional disclosures may result, for example, when other parties misrepresent their identities in asking for a report of such information.

We may also feature promotions that are sponsored by companies other than Strawberry or they may be co-sponsored with Strawberry. If any data is collected during those promotions, you will be notified prior to the time you transmit the data and you may decide not to participate in the promotion.

Of course, Strawbery will disclose your personally-identifiable information when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as in response to requests from local, state or federal law enforcement officials, or any judicial, administrative or similar proceeding or order, such as a subpoena, or if otherwise required by law. We may also disclose this information in special instances where we believe it is necessary in order to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating or may in any other way be causing some sort of injury to Strawberry’s rights or property, other Strawberry users, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.

Strawberry also may disclose collected user statistics in order to describe our services to advertisers and other third parties, and for other lawful purposes. Strawberry also may do research on users’ demographics, interests and behavior based on the information provided to us on registration or otherwise.

You should remember that as much as we attempt to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access to your information, if you follow a link on our site to another site, you should consult that other site’s privacy notices, as we have no control over information that is submitted to or collected by these third parties.

Some of our advertisers or partners may use cookies on our website. We have neither access to nor control over those cookies. Cookies are text files that we may place in your computer’s browser to store your preferences, but they do not by themselves tell us your e-mail address or give us any other personally-identifiable information, unless you choose to provide the information to us by, for example, registering at our Site. If you choose to provide our Site with this information, it may be linked to the data stored in the cookie.

You may opt out of marketing communications from us or from any of our partners. To do this, please simply send an e-mail to us. To contact us, please send an e-mail to info@strawberrypublications.com, or write to us at:
