Submission Guidelines - Formatting Guidelines - FAQ's

Strawberry Publications is a Self-Publishing company aiding authors who want to Self-Publish, but don't know how to get started. WE ARE NOT A PUBLISHING COMPANY. You will retain 100% RIGHTS & ROYALTY. Only inquire if you meet the following:

  1. You are open to having editing or revising if necessary.

  2. If you have accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads, and an Author Central Page on Amazon.

  3. You are using social networking regularly.

  4. You are willing to promote your book & are committed to seeing your project to the end.

Submission Guidelines

  1. We accept email submissions only; please address emails/queries to Strawberry Publications.

  2. Include a brief bio, writing background and publishing history.

  3. List your social networks including Twitter, Facebook, Goodreads and links to your blog or website.

  4. Give us a brief description of your book in 200 words or less.

  5. We accept Microsoft Word documents (ONLY).

  6. Attach the first 3 Chapters and the last chapter of your manuscript.

  7. Any photographs and illustrations must adhere to Strawberry Publications’ ethical standards; which means they may depict anything that is representative of the piece, excluding explicit sex; explicit drug use; strong profanity; graphic violence against women, children, or animals.

  8. Tell us about your novel

  • Genre

  • Word Count

  • Series or standalone. If it’s a series, please tell us how many books you plan on including in the series.

  • Your legal name and pen name, if one is used

Formatting Guidelines

  1. All files should be in Microsoft Word

  2. Font Style: Times New Roman

  3. Font Size: 12pt

  4. Line Spacing: Single

  5. Use formatted, indented paragraphs ONLY (no tabs or spaces)

  6. No extra spaces between paragraphs except for scene breaks

  7. Mark scene breaks with 3 asterisks (***)
